We currently offer urgent care services at Erie Canal Animal Hospital on Thursdays and Fridays from 8am-4pm and Saturday-Monday from 8am-6pm. We have a veterinarian dedicated to treating pets with urgent or critical concerns who cannot wait until our next available general practice appointment. The urgent care service is available not only to our current clients, but also to non-clients seeking urgent care sooner than their primary veterinarian can offer. Records will be promptly shared with your regular veterinarian so you can follow up with them when they are available.
Urgent care concerns may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Anorexia
- Lameness
- Toxin ingestion
- Trauma
- Painful ear infections
- Trouble breathing
- Urinary concerns
